Short-Term Research Program Overview
The GSTP short-term traineeships are open
to Ph.D. students who wish to work
with GSTP trainers
as mentors.
The short-term traineeships were designed
for students “enrolled in a Ph.D. program and
trained in chemistry, physics, mathematics, bioinformatics,
computational biology, computer sciences or engineering
sciences who wish to spend three to six months in a
molecular biology laboratory in order to get acquainted
with the field” (from http://grants.nih.gov/grants/guide/pa-files/PA-99-028.html).
The traineeships are awarded for a three
to six month period for research at
UW-Madison.
Stipend support is available.
The short-term GSTP trainees must be U.S.
